We run Birmingham.

BHX Run Club was established in 2024 with one simple idea - running is better together. We're building a community where every pace and every ability is welcome, but more than that, a community that genuinely cares for one another. And because we believe running should be accessible to everyone, joining us won't cost you a thing. Whether you're looking for the motivation to get out of the door, new friends to explore routes with or simply a place where you belong, you'll find it here. Come run with us.

What got you into running?

l have been running for 12 months now. When I started, I was struggling with my mental health and I knew I needed something to help me fight back. Signing up for the Birmingham Half Marathon last year felt like a big step, but it changed everything. I found somehing I didn't even realise I was missing. Running became my escape, my way of clearing my head, and slowly helping me feel like myself again.

What's your favourite distance?

Half marathon and a 10km with BHX.

What's your dream race location?

Berlin marathon - a good opportunity for a PB (so I am told). me

What is your advice for new runners?

Don't compare yourself to others, focus on your own journey and run at a pace that feels right for you.
